Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you responsibilities will include:
- Manage the AP /AR functions
- Reconcile bills and invoices on a regular basis
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assist with GST reconciliations for submission of BAS/IAS and other reconciliations as required
- Manage outstanding debts and bring all outstanding debts to the team's attention
- Manage payroll for the organisation, ensuring that all data is accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust systems and procedures in the finance function
- Ensure the Fixed Asset Register is updated and accurately maintained
- Other ad hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar bookkeeping role with a passion for womens' rights. Ideally, they will have experience with Xero and will be system and process driven. Most importantly, they will be autonomous, collaborative and friendly, with excellent communication skills.
