POSITION

The Purpose

  • To manage the execution and delivery of Dior Asia Pacific’s ambitious event plan.
  • To bridge all internal stake-holders together to achieve highest level of results.
  • To integrate events fully into business strategy and according to Paris guidelines
  • To drive local markets with Asia to take initiatives and identify business opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Event overview:

  • Establish annual event calendar
  • Manage all events from briefing, planning, validating and executing with local markets
  • Partner with production team on venue set up
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are briefed, engaged and partnered up: VM, CRM, Retail, Training, PR, Private Client, Finance & Logistic teams

Budget, Finance & Administration:

  • Manage budget and exploit it accurately and effectively
  • Partner up with Regional Image Event team on budget for joint events
  • Ensure all invoicing is processed ahead of time to facilitate operation
  • Obtain best possible quotations and costs from suppliers

Event delivery: concept realization and execution:

  • Manage event brief and create event proposal to meet HQ guidelines and meet the business financials
  • Prepare timing plans and deadlines to ensure smooth operational process across events
  • Anticipate unforeseen issues by developing appropriate procedures and having checklists followed up meticulously
  • Provide regular status update all key events to all stake-holders, most importantly HQ
  • Brief and manage external suppliers
  • Manage all the event client treatment and communication tools with local Client marketing teams
  • Partner with local Client Marketing team and Retail team to determine and manage clients RSVP and attendance
  • Monitor event performance with local CDM and retail team
  • Safeguard standards of all aspects of event to respect Dior excellence

Post event follow up:

  • Responsible for post event follow up; reports within agreed deadline, ROI result

PROFILE

Experience (number of year, type, sector/industry,…)

  • University graduate in related discipline
  • Minimum 8 year of experience in event role
  • Experience in event production is a must
  • Background in statistics is preferred
  • Good understanding of luxury business, experience in luxury retail is a plus

Technical skills (IF, language,…)

  • Analytical and computer literate
  • Entrepreneurial and project management skills
  • Good communication & negotiation skills
  • Language skills: English, , other language ability is an added advantage
