Key responsibilities:

Process Engineering

  • Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
  • Support production facilities and operation.
  • General and maintain documentation related to QMS.
  • Ensures designs, documents, and procedures have been validated prior to production releases.
  • Manage process development and improvements, ensure the accomplishment of the production plan.
  • Provide technical support for the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to continuously improve processes.
  • Investigate and fix root cost of line downtimes related to process, tooling and/or components.
  • Train, certify, and monitor work of technicians and operators to ensure product quality.
  • Provide technical inputs for incident investigation considering and integral perspective (manpower, method, machines, materials, and measurement), documenting problem, root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Prepare internal and external reports as requested by company.
  • Prepare and control equipment Capacity utilization.
  • Prepare and control departmental CAPEX.
  • PDCA on Preventive Maintenance activity for tooling/fixtures as per TPM weekly/monthly/yearly plan.

Launch Management

  • Apply standard procedures for new program industrialization considering customer specific requirements. Working knowledge of the basic principles of Project Management, APQP, ISO/TS16949, VDA6.3 etc. as well as TEN standards such as TenPLUS is required.
  • Close link with Program Management Office (PMO) and Project Managers and peers in other SBUs to develop new procedures, improve current procedures, and ensure alignment in application of the procedures.
  • To prepare process data (process description, tooling cost, investment cost, capacity utilization, etc) to support Business Case preparation for Quotation as reply to RFQ from customers.
  • To assist plants to prepare investment approval (CAR).
  • Collect, update and prepare project related information for consistent communication between the TEN project teams, the program management, and the related global function teams, and if necessary, also with the customers.
  • To coordinate resource to cover MFG feasibility study led by tech center.
  • To facilitate regular meetings with cross-function teams to update the latest program status and control progress to the agreed plan.
  • Early identification of risk and through coordination of resource to provide solutions and follow up via action plans, apply escalation procedure as necessary.
  • To coordinate resource to assist plants preparing for (customer) audits.
  • Support the Company integrate Management System such as IATF 16949, ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate experience:

  • At Least 8 years above production supervisor or Manager experience in Manufacturing Industry.
  • Automotive Industry experience preferred.
  • Welding process knowledge is a must.
  • Very good trainings and experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

  • Computer skills in PPT, Word, Excel.
  • Good English level to read, write and speak.
  • Honest, good communication skill, ability to work under pressure.
  • Team building and engagement experience.
  • Great Management skills.

Qualifications/ certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree majored in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical
